This is a free event to bring together the clubs of Okahu Bay to have some fun
• When: Saturday 7th May
• High Tide: 11.49am
• Check in time: 8.00am (get waka ready & warm up)
• Race start: 9.00am
• Format: W6 – Relay
• Distance: Total 10- 11km - Okahu Bay to Bean Rock and back x 2 laps
• Categories – Open Gender, teams may consist of any gender mix and quantity
• Shared kai after
*No of participants required – up to 12, if you do not have enough for two teams, the requirement
will be to swap seats after the first lap.
*All waka ama safety rules apply, everyone must be capable of completing the course

• No capacity limits.
• Facemasks are not required in outdoor settings.
