***Please note end of series awards will go to divisions with consistent 3 or more paddlers in each race***
REGISTRATION: - Registration is open in store and will be available online soon - $140 Season Pass ($160 for Waka relay) - includes Sharkskin race shirt and Strongarm custom hi-vis hat - $110 Season Pass for Juniors U19 - $25 one-off race entry (race shirt is COMPULSORY) - Race shirt $25 - Hat $15
PRIZE GIVING: Each race will be followed by a spot prize giving at Master & Apprentice (136 Hurstmere road). Final prize giving and medal/ trophy ceremony will be held a week after the final race on Saturday 3rd August (evening). Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in each division, there must be a minimum of at least 3 competitors in each division and consistently paddling in order to receive a medal.
ADDITIONAL INFO: • Race day registrations open from 9am at Ocean Culture • Paddlers MUST check in EVERY race at Ocean Culture - this is for safety reasons and is part of our commitment to the Harbour Master. • Race briefing will held in front of Takapuna green area at 10.45am • Race starts at 11am - all divisions • Your 4 best races out of 6, count towards your final placing • ALL competitors MUST wear a PFD (Personal floatation device) and leash
